Harry has been a family caregiver for over 40 years and divides his time between his consulting firm, PSD Consultants, and his non-for-profit organization, Legacies Inc. Through these two companies, Harry provides management and staff training, project management, public speeches and workshops, and dozens of free online books and videos to help as many people learn the skills they want, when they want them.

His clients include organizations in

Harry started as a family caregiving supporting his parents and grandfather to live as fully as possible at home until they died. He promised them he would dedicate part of his life to ensuring that other family members did not have to learn everything by luck or through mistakes. He is a founder of the Community Hospice Association of Ontario (now Hospice Palliative Care Ontario), the Canadian Palliative Care Association (now the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Assocation), and has helped professionals and hospice care organizations.
